I dont't think, that this bug is a duplicate, too. As a workaround to
stop logging I edited syslog.conf and commented out the following lines:

# commented out with #
# *.*;auth,authpriv.none                -/var/log/syslog

# commented out with #
# kern.*                                -/var/log/kern.log

# commented out with #
# *.=info;*.=notice;*.=warning;\
#       auth,authpriv.none;\
#       cron,daemon.none;\
#       mail,news.none          -/var/log/messages

The PC is new and bulit on Intels iQ45-Plattform.
