Binary package hint: update-manager
When I was trying to upgrade from Ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10 on my desktop
computer, this error came up along with one for memtest86+ 1.70-3ubuntu1
(also reported in my bug 295708). These two problems together kept my
upgrade from taking place, saying my system could be in a vulnerable
state.
