Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

This more a wish list than an bug ; when adding characters 2 things are really
meissing making addition of special characters really un practical.
(1) when you have a French keyboard and that you want to add special
accentuated (ie or others (ie ñ) when you use menu "Insertion -> special
characters" when the window pops up you woud logically expect the font to be
preset when such addition is within a word where the font is clearly identified
(though the possibility to propose a menu to change it must be kept),
(2) there should be a possibility to keep such window open as you cannot expect
in those conditions to reopen the window each time !
