Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libmyth-0.20
Using the latest 8.30.3 fglrx drivers, mplayer with vo xv works fine but mythtv-frontend has blue tinge to all tv playback. I believe the bug applies to all ATI RADEON X cards and myth needs to be recomplied with USE_ATI_PROPRIETARY_DRIVER_XVIDEO_HACK enabled. However, this may negatively effect other cards. See: http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/browser/branches/release-0-20-fixes/mythtv/libs/libmythtv/videoout_xv.cpp#L67 Also you may need to modify this function to include the Xv adaptor: http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/browser/branches/release-0-20-fixes/mythtv/libs/libmythtv/videoout_xv.cpp#L3448 Not sure why this can't be a config setting (rather than a compile option). ** Affects: mythtv (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- ATI Radeon AVIVO Video -> 'Blue' tv https://launchpad.net/bugs/73102 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
