I could reproduce the bug. It occurs with all PostScript PPDs which insert PJL/JCL into the datastream. The pstopdf filter already applied the PJL/JCL code and so Ghostscript could not convert the file to PDF. This is fixed in the attached file.
Can you all replace your /usr/lib/cups/filter/pstopdf by the attched file? Please do not forget to make it executable sudo chmod 755 /usr/lib/cups/filter/pstopdf Can you print now? ** Attachment added: "Replacement pstopdf filter" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/19398422/pstopdf ** Changed in: cups (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- "/usr/lib/cups/filter/pstopdf failed" in error_log and only blank page printed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/289759 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
