I agree 100% with Marcel: this is (IMHO) a gnome-bluetooth bug, the underlying layer works pretty well. In effect, this bug is specify to "affect" gome-bluetooth, no? Nevertheless, the same thing happens with kdebluetooth for example. So I do not know what to point exactly. Is there a mid layer between hci and GUI? Maybe dbus?
