Binary package hint: twinkle
I'm getting no sound for twinkle nor for the Gnome Sound Preferences panel.
This is a Ubuntu Live CD Session from a USB memory stick.
I have applied some updates of a kernel nature which failed to complete.
I noticed that the memory stick cannot accept kernel updates.
It might be good for the USB Memory stick users to pin their kernels in
apt so that packages which cannot be upgraded won't try.
I am excited about the possibility of sending people memory sticks with
pre-configured twinkle accounts setup to use srtp encryption. Keep up
the good work! Thanks for all you've done thus far!
