Public bug reported:
i previously tried upgrading 4rom ubuntu 8.04 to interpid 8.10 but had
numerous problems,so i opted 4 system backup removal of 8.04 n fresh
install of 8.10. at first it seemed 2 work but after updating some
packages like skype,kopete, openoffice, and especialy screenlets which i
suspect, i've lost my sound.
