This bug appears to be related to another bug I've seen, where the "Applications" column in the "Tasks" tab in Advanced View shows boxes with X in them (null bytes?) after the application name. I grabbed the latest version of BOINC from boinc.berkeley.edu and no longer get error messages or Application column weirdness, so I theorize that this bug is fixed in 6.2.15.
Would be nice if Ubuntu would upgrade to 6.2.15, then... -- (boincmgr:23660): Pango-WARNING **: Invalid UTF-8 string passed to pango_layout_set_text() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/284805 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
