Guys, I got it working with audio :). you have to follow the following procedure. 1. Don't use package manager to install XVIDCAP. download teh latest version from sourceforge.net. the latest available version is 1.1.7. don't install the .deb it did not work for me. install the tar.gz archive 2. make sure the the following libraries are installed on your machine a. libglade2-dev b. libxmu-dev 3. extract the archive and run the following three commands - make sure to CD to the folder where you extract the archive a. ./configure b. make c. sudo make install (here you need to use the sudo cause it will be installing files in src folder) Enjoy it. oops, I forgot that I have xvidcap and I could have illustrated that to you with a movie :). and yes with sound. -- xvidcap crashed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/92700 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
