Public bug reported: When my laptop is running for several hours with the screensaver enabled, it sometimes happens that the mouse cursor shuffles from the left to the right (only a few millimeters). This is very annoying. When I put my finger on the mousepad, the shuffling stops, but it starts again when I remove my finger.
The shuffling automatically stops after some time, but I remember that I had to restart the X server in previous Ubuntu releases to solve this issue (so it improved). Other information: * laptop: Macbook (last version before Apple switched to 64 bit Intel CPUs) * A simple USB optical mouse from Logitech is connected to my laptop ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Shuffling cursor https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292665 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
