The symptoms Eric describes are very similar to the issue I am having. I upgraded to Ibex a little over a week ago from Hardy and started experiencing problems. I did not have any problems in Hardy.
I have a Dell Inspiron 6000. At seemingly random intervals, my keyboard will stop working. Simultaneously, the Applications/Places/System menus stop working. When I click them, they light up orange, but the menu does not appear. Also, I can no longer drag any windows I have open. I can switch between focus between windows, but can't move them. In order to fix the problem ctrl+alt+backspace still manages to restart x. This bug is rendering my system virtually unusable, as it happens frequently. -- Keyboard freeze after some time https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/253740 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
