I've got the same issue on Youtube. It is remarkable that the Flash plugin is loaded (noticeable by a short gray 'flash' on the place where the video is supposed to be, and right clicking on that empty space gives you a context menu). So I guess that once the Flash plugin is started, I gets stuck somewhere.
