After an update of the xserver-xorg-video-intel driver the display does work again with the change from Driver "i810" to Driver "intel". However, the screen blinks every few seconds and is therefore not very usefull.
On a second laptop (HP nc4220) with an Intel Mobile 915GM/PM/GMS/910GML Chipset I do have exactly the same problems. I also would greatly appreciate, if the i810 driver would be supported in Interepid (or if the intel driver will get fixed for the above mentioned Chipsets.)
