Hello Ian,

Actually i have still been noticeing issues with scim when using "non
gtk" apps. Firefox sometimes has issues so need to deactivate and
reactivate scim to type chinese/russian again when i go back to another
app e.g.:
1- I type chinese/russian in open office writer
2- I need to check something on the web so launch firefox and then type
spanish/english/french in firefox (no need scim), but just press "shift"
to change from chinese/russian to european charater set
3- When go back to the app in where i triggered scim there is no way to
type chinese/russian but deacivating and reactivating scim with the
key-stroke-combination i had configured.

Other issue i still notice is that some qt apps allow to use scim, some
do not. I have installed also scim for qt so theoretically i should be
able to type in any app. This could also be app issue, as i noticed
kopete allows and amsn does not.

If you need any kind of testing, let me know. I use chinese/russian
everyday along english/french/spanish. So the testing will be on
everyday basis.

I have not tested yet Intrepid. Will check it this weekend after
download it.

Regards.
Xerman
