Oh, with tty works, I mean, that when I am still in gdm, everything works but when logging in, the freeze does not allow me to do anything any more. This also happens with the live-CD. I had to install 8.04.1, as a working system was needed. But right now, I borrowed the computer again and I am installing 8.10.
