Also confirmed on hardy on a Santa Rosa based Asus laptop. s2both in gutsy worked fine (apart from overall flaky hibernation).
s2ram added back into uswsusp works fine both on gutsy and on hardy. s2both fails (shuts the machine down) when the S2RAM_SNAPSHOT ioctl returns an error.
