Public bug reported:

I have a Vaio VGN FZ18M using the current version of the 8.10 RC
My SigmaTel sound card seems not to work correctly. i could not find a way to
get the input working.
tried model=auto, model=vaio all works fine except the microphone jack and
internal mic

here is the result of the alsa diagnostics script

http://www.alsa-
project.org/db/?f=471fbe653179fe11df23516cc71d9a8023f8948a

I had it working with the 8.04 :( using snd_hda_intel model=vaio ), at least
for the internal mic

here is the sudo lspci -v part ofr the sound card, but i guess the alsa stuff
provides far more complete information
