Hi BUGabundo, Ok, I think I understand now. It's helpful to the development teams if bug reports target one specific issue. This bug report will focus on the kernel issue of why Suspend is failing to resume. The issue of FUSA not listing the options to Suspend/Hibernate is an unrelated issue to suspend failing to resume and should warrant a separate bug report.
So on your installed system, with uswsusp removed, please execute the debugging procedure documented at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspend and attach the resulting dmesg output after an attempted suspend/resume cycle.
