I'm having the same issue. Something is wrong with the conversion process. I have two computers that mount home over NFS which is on my server. On the first machine I upgraded I tested my mother's account and it had the issue, but now on the second to be upgraded, her account works fine but my account and my brothers have this issue. On the first computer I unmounted /home and recreated an empty home directory and the issue still occurred. The only thing that seemed to fix it was changing her UID number. When I changed it back it broke again. Any updates on this? This is a really big deal in a release candidate.
