Hi, Did a distribution upgrade to 8.10 Sunday 26th Oct. and it`s still the same. In a screen of 1024x768 (or 1280x1024) games like Trackballs or Extreme Tux Racer show a black screen with the "cannot display this video mode" message. You can hear the audio. This is with the visual effects set to none.
