Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kpowersave
Kpowersave has e really nice feature that lets you configure it to autosuspend to disk or RAM if the computer is idle for some time. However, if I log in and later leave the computer and it autosuspends to RAM then if my girlfriend wakes it up and starts a new session for herself the computer will suspend when my login, the first one, is determined to have been idle for some time. This happens in the middle of her work. She then wakes the computer up again but it immediately suspends again because my own session is determined to be idle. I think kpowersave should somehow determine if another session is active and not suspend the computer if that is the case. It is a really annoying bug and my girlfriends only option if I'm not home is to reboot to get me logged out as I don't share my password. ** Affects: kpowersave (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- autosuspend breaks if there are 2+ X ssessions https://launchpad.net/bugs/72166 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
