Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: larswm

Larswm default configuration opens to a desktop that does not work. Even
logging out without rebooting is difficult.

To reproduce on 6.06 LTS Dapper
1) $ sudo apt-get install larswm
2) MainMenu: Quit: Switch User
3) (On login screen): Session: larswm. Type username and password normally.

What should happen: You should get a usable desktop. Starting programs
should be easy. There should be a way of logging out. Window placement
should work as adverticed.

What actually happens (the bug): Blank (blue) screen, with gray status
line on the bottom. Only thing that works is changing workspace by
rolling wheel on the status line, but even that's not obvious. There
seems to be no way to start programs. Mouse buttons do nothing. Keyboard
seems to do nothing. There is no way to log out.

What should be done: Provide a default configuration that works. Make it
easy to start programs and log out. Make window placement work
automatically.

** Affects: larswm (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
