For what it's worth my Logitech Quickcam Web doesn't work either. Worked fine in Hardy (as well as all previous versions from Edgy, Feisty to Gutsy), then yesterday when I upgraded to Intrepid it stopped working.
lsusb identifies it as a "Bus 004 Device 005: ID 046d:0850 Logitech, Inc.
