** Description changed:

  Hi,

I have a MSI MP54G2 MiniPCI WiFi card in my laptop that uses the RT2500
- chipset. Dappe will not connect to my router/access point if the WiFi
+ chipset. Dapper will not connect to my router/access point if the WiFi
channel on the router is set to either channel 12 (2.467GHz) and 13
  (2.472GHz).

A bit of research and I found this post that might resolve the issue -

  http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=504010#post504010

It would be nice to see this resolve in Dapper as a lot of people will
set thier channel number high on their router to avoid interferance with
  other wireless devices.
