Thanks for reporting this bug. Could you attach the reports from
/var/log/dist-upgrade , /var/log/dmesg , and /var/log/syslog right after
this error appears. Also, was your upgrade from Hardy 8.04 to Intrepid
8.10? If not an upgrade, which version of Intrepid did you install,
including the date of the ISO image.
