Ever since I upgraded, boinc has refused to connect to projects, giving errors like: upload temporarily failed, HTTP error Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. Requesting 259200 seconds of work, reporting 1 completed tasks Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down. Scheduler request failed: Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates I mentioned it in a thread here, and someone said they had the same problem, so I opened this bug. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=951246 + In that thread, Kevbert posted a link to this thread + http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=15682 + I looked in the cc_config.xml and there was nothing about the data_dir. + I tried downloading a BOINC package from the WCG site, and copying the ca-bundle.crt to the /etc/boinc-client directory, but that didn't seem to fix it. + I also tried getting the deb from Getdeb and installing it (6.2.14), but I still have this issue.
