Public bug reported: Binary package hint: adept
Kubuntu 8.10. adept 3.0~beta4ubuntu3 Adept does not list packages which come from Third Party software reporitories. For instance, if I add kubuntu-members-kde4 personal package archive: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-members-kde4/ubuntu intrepid main Adept cannot list package amarok-kde4, provided by that repository, but the package is listed in Synaptic. The same happens for Medibuntu repository: deb http://packages.medibuntu.org intrepid free non-free Adept cannot list package w32codecs provided by this repository, but the package is listed in Synaptic. Due this issue, is not possible to install Third Party packages using Adept manager, it is needed to use another package manager for it. I attach some screenshots as demo of the problem. ** Affects: adept (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Adept does not list Third Party software https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/287000 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
