Can you comment which specific 2.6.27-7 version you are using? Is it
2.6.27-7.12? If not, care to test the 2.6.27-7.12 version?
Additionally, if the issue still exists with this most recent kernel,
can you boot with the 'quiet' and 'splash' options removed. Do any
error messages get logged to the screen? Would you be able to take a
digital photo of them and attach it to this bug report? Thanks.
