Hi, On 8.10 beta, I can remove the file ~/.xinput.d/fr_FR and it still works on GTK and KDE applications (i.e. everywhere). However, removing .scim/global remove the Ctrl+Space ability, I must manually select "scim" as the input method for it to work. im-switch -l give me "scim" as input method.
