Can confirm in latest kernel had to compile drivers from realtek website andadd also digital input sources to ALSA in order for all sound to work- this picks up headphone jack and speakers. Mic as yet untested, but think it works from headphone source and onboard.. I followed these instructions and used 5.07 drivers from realtek site. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=878608
