I compiled gvfs from another computer, In gvfs-ls.c:143, g_file_enumerate_children returns NULL when it's given "computer:" as the input. Don't know what this function does, it's in the gio library I think.
I also checked the md5 of all the files in the /usr/lib/gvfs /usr/share/gvfs and they're both the same on the computer that's not working and another computer where it is working so it's not the wrong files installed or something.
