Hello! Thanks for responding! Actually somebody reported in full what the problem was. I have a gateway laptop I am resurrecting that was sold to me using XP SP2. After 2 years I now use an exterior 17x19 flat monitor and usb mouse and usb keyboard. The problem I was attempting to describe was that Gateway has a peculiar wireless problem that shows up as an error and stops the install at 29% everytime. I understand that the new version of Ubuntu will be ready on 30 October 2008. I will download that. Meanwhile my brother Ted, Missouri, USA, is trying out the new *.11 trial version and will let me know his thoughts.
Hope this helps. John Marlo Grier, Cebu IanW wrote: > Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make > Ubuntu better.
