Same here with a vaio BX196VP. The Fn-keys are not working with the interpid beta, updated today.
Every fn-keypress generates these exact 2 lines in dmesg, the same for all fn-keys: [ 2180.629831] atkbd.c: Unknown key released (translated set 2, code 0xf5 on isa0060/serio0).
