Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: makedumpfile

New upstream version just released. Fixed an issue that was previously
encountered with using any "-d" argument greater than 1 on some systems.
(Seems to have had to do with compile flags for large file support).
Works fine now even up to the max "-d 31" value.

No real push to put this in intrepid (other than fixing the "-d" issue).
I updated this package for my own purposes, as before, just saving
Ubuntu developer time for more important things.

Upstream changelist since 1.2.9:

makedumpfile 1.3.0 (Support i386 CONFIG_VMSPLIT_1G kernel)
  - Support i386 CONFIG_VMSPLIT_1G kernel.
