Public bug reported: Binary package hint: glipper
Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1 Release: 8.04 Package: glipper v1.0 Package: rdesktop v1.5.0 Package: tsclient v0.150 What to expect: Copy a file on a remote computer from location A to location B. (For example, copy a file from C:\temp1\ to C:\temp2\) What happens: Nothing happens. Description: With glipper active, it's not possible to copy & paste files on the remote computer when connecting with the rdesktop command. (Except the drag and drop method) On the remote computer, if you right click on a file, and choose Copy, and then try to right click again, paste is grayed out. (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+v gives the same result, nothing happens, but copying text seems to work fine.) Have tried to connect to both Win 2k3 and Win XP machines. If I disable glipper, it works as expected. And, if I use tsclient instead of the rdesktop command, it also works as expected. ** Affects: glipper (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- unable to to copy and paste files in a rdesktop session with glipper active https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/283385 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
