Yes, this bug is reproducible but only on one computer. Other computers
ask to fetch an update for wavpack. I have already fetched the update
and the computer will still not read a compact disk. To reproduce, just
use a fresh load of Ubuntu 8.04 and insert a commercial music cd.

Status in “rhythmbox” source package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
Binary package hint: rhythmbox

I am running Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Desktop Edition on an HP Pavilion 8360 with
an Intel Pentium II processor. The is no new hardware inside the
desktop except for memory and a CD Burner. The error under the
properties menu in rhythmbox says 'failed to connect stream: invalid
argument' when I try to play it in totem it says the stream has no data.
Is it because I need a plugin for .wav? Thank-you
