I can confirm this bug on an IBM Thinkpad X31 >> Intrepid Ibex Beta >> Firefox 3.0.3
I've successfully installed and used all versions of Ubuntu from 6.06 onward on this thinkpad without any major problems. This problem with Firefox hiding under the top-panel is new, and occurs with a brand new install upon opening Firefox for the first time. Seems to be remedied by opening panel preferences >> adding panel-hide buttons >> hiding top panel >>adjusting firefox window size by grabbing the bottom corner >> then un-hiding top-panel. This might not be issue if the top-panel wasn't "expanded" by default. ** Attachment added: "Firefox hiding under top panel >> intrepid Ibex Beta" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/18510988/Frefox_under_panel.png -- Default window size too large, obscured under top panel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/209499 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
