Thanks syko21, installing a recent iwlagn module does fix it for me. Each time Ubuntu updates the kernel, I have to make / make install or the random crashes return. Crashing on the latest update 2.6.27-7 without the update. My kernel dumps looks same as others but Ive attached anyway.
