Public bug reported:

I'm currently using Kubuntu Intrepid. In my Nvidia-settings app, my
monitor is listed as an LM-700. The standard resolution is 1280x1024 @
60hz refresh rate, however the refresh rate is not set to 60hz as it
should be. I'm not sure what the refresh rate is that's being used by
default, however in order for my monitor to appear correctly, I have to
go into the nvidia-settings app and set it to 60hz manually every time I
start my computer. I tried to find the EDID of my monitor, however read-
edid cannot be found in the repositories.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
