Public bug reported: Binary package hint: f-spot
Just upgraded to hardy from the previous LTS release and found that it is no longer possible to print to a small 6"x4" paper in f-spot. F-Spot does not give a paper size option in its print dialog and I have tried changing the printing size in the Printing administration applet but the size is not honoured. When I print to a 6x4 sheet, even with the latter setting, the photo prints at a large size and is cropped (only one corner of the page is visible on the printout). This is a very annoying regression since this PC belongs to my mother, who uses the PC entirely for printing photos! (Needless to say, Intrepid is not an option here.) $ apt-cache policy f-spot f-spot: Installed: 0.4.3.1-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 0.4.3.1-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 0.4.3.1-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com hardy-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 0.4.2-1ubuntu3 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages My printer is a Canon Pixma MP180, using proprietary turboprint drivers but F-Spot is missing the paper size option in the print dialog no matter what printer I attach. ** Affects: f-spot (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [hardy] F-Spot can't adjust paper size and ignores printer setting https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/281670 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
