Hardy with 2.6.24 or 2.6.27 kernel. wireless-tools version 29-1ubuntu2.
Lenovo X60.
If you startup with the wireless switch "on", this is not recognized.
(The wireless LED is off and NetworkManager shows no wireless networks
in range.) If you then disable and reenable wireless (using the nm-
applet right click menu), the wireless LED turns on and wireless
networks are shown.
