Public bug reported:

The installer for various versions (possibly all) shows the CDT time
zone as being GMT -5:00. This is incorrect. CDT is actually GMT -6:00.

I've found this bug in every installation of *buntu I have used. These
include: Kubuntu 7.10 i386, Ubuntu 7.10 i386, Kubuntu 8.04 i386, Ubuntu
8.04 i386, and Ubuntu 8.04.1 amd64.
