Hello,

  I got a 15.4" laptop with an NVIDIA graphics adapter, and I started to
test Intrepid beta. When I use uvesafb module, the maximum resolution I
can get on console is 1024x768 (that is 48 lines by 128 columns). Yet if
I use the nvidiafb module, I can get 1280x800 resolution (50 lines by
160 columns). The problem is that I cannot use the nvidiafb module
because it conflicts with the non-free nvidia module. ie. if the system
tries to load the nvidia module while the nvidiafb is in use, I get this
error:
