Public bug reported:
I am using 64-bit Intrepid, on a Gateway M-7315u laptop. It takes about
three or four minutes for it to shut down or reboot. When I click on
"restart" or "shut down", the usplash image appears as it should, then
it hangs with no movement. Eventually it will go back to the black event
screen, and wait there for a few minutes until it continues the shut
down process.
Included is the output of dmesg, I hope that helps. If not, please let
me know what is needed.
