@Sebastien, if Hardy users have a bug they don't mind if it's fixed in next distro release. A bug in Hardy fixed in Intrepid remains a bug and Ubuntu is responsible for this, as sayd by Mark Shuttleworth, in his blog, on Friday, June 27th, 2008 (Ubuntu’s role in bug management for the whole free software stack). If backports are not scheduled, I think the only solution is to port fixed f-spot (but in general fixed packages) in Hardy too and until then I find a mistake to close a bug that isn't fixed in Hardy that, what's more, is out from just 6 months and it's a LTS release.
