Public bug reported:

After every kernel upgrade (using the normal dev updates, no making or
compiling) I need to configure my NVidia restricted driver again. After
loading and activating the driver, I need to configure it for my Sony
LCD TV which is connected on the DVI connector. It can not be detected
automatically, which is also fine. After setting the DVO port and
making the port the primary display, I apply changes. This works. Now
when I try to save the changes, I can never save the xorg.conf, it says
access denied. I need to copy the text and then manually change the
settings in xorg.conf or overwrite the settings. Seems like the wrong
user context is used.
