** Description changed: I recently upgraded from Hardy Heron to Intrepid Ibex Beta. The upgrade went fine. But, when I restarted my machine and logged in to my account, the system hangs. A blank screen is displayed with a mouse cursor and the keyboard doesn't work at all. But when I press the power button on my CPU, the system shutdowns after a certain period but nothing is displayed on the screen except for a cursor. I even tried with Failsafe GNOME session but it resulted the same. + + Same problem in live-cd also!!
