I am nit sure if this the same problem. I am running Intrepid Beta and have a strange problem with the Broadcom Chipset BCM5754 using the tg3 driver. I can ping the external network and perform all function from the machine to others in the network. But nobody can ping this machine from outside. Its asif there was a firewall blocking network access to my machine. But I have no firewall running and have confirmed this by using a different network card (intel 100o Pro) and that works fine. This beats me that the tg3 module in 2.6.27 kernel ,might be buggy. Let me know if i need to provide more info.
