(You should, of course, be very careful when copying that, try it as a normal user first and make sure you didn't get any unfortunately placed spaces which make it nuke /usr/share or something)
Alternatively you could manually install it a second time using setup.py install --record=files.txt, then you get a handy file list you can xargs to rm.
